taday in math class westarted with mental math as usuall and the we averaged them out after that mr. maks went and got some toyes wich were blocks we had to find out the volume and surface area of the cubes we were making then following that we were taught.

After starting the class with some mental math, we learned a bit abot quadrilaterals. There is a problem with the diagram above: Where does the rhombus go? So... we have a bit of homework to do.
1) Get definitions, whatever we need to know, so we can make the venn diagram work.
2) Finish and hand in the worksheet, which well help us complete the venn diagram.

Dec.9/09

In class today we did mental math and then took notes on sloving rational expressions. To solve these equations you first have to find the L.C.D. Than you have to place the L.C.D by the numerator. Than you must simplify the equation. After that you multiply what is left of the L.C.D by the numerator. Than you divide to find x. There will be notes and voice video to help explain how to do this unit better. For homework the following excersies were assigned:

More Rational Expression Stuff

We spent more than half the class doing examples. These are the ones we did. Exercise 47 is assined.

Today in math we were assigned Exercise 47 questions 1-8 as practice. The next test we have will have some of the same questions on it as the Trig test. The day for the retest will be Friday the 11th next week.

December 3rd

The test today was optional. Whoever didn't write the test worked on accelerated math or accumulated exercises.

Today the whole class got their math tests back. The rest of the time was pretty much a work period.

December 1st

Today was a work day, getting caught up on acclerated math.
